Mandiri Sahabat Desa is a program by Bank Mandiri aimed at empowering communities in Indonesia, particularly in the fields of economics, finance, and skills development.
Through this program, Bank Mandiri provides various forms of assistance focused on public facilities, education, MSME support, healthcare, and social welfare. Initiatives include financial literacy training, the construction of public facilities such as communal MCK (bathrooms), the provision of clean water sources through solar-powered water pump equipment, public street lighting with solar panels, providing solar panels for uninhabitable houses, social services such as distributing food packages, community clean-up activities, providing integrated waste processing facilities for karang taruna (youth organizations), supplying school supplies for children, free healthcare services for the community, providing stunting prevention packages, and supporting MSMEs through equipment for fisherwomen and the repair of fishing boats for the community.
The program is expected to support the goal of creating more independent, prosperous, and economically resilient villages, allowing rural communities to contribute to sustainable national economic development.
