Incoming Remittance is a service for receiving funds from Foreign Banks/Financial Institutions or Foreign Currency remittances from Domestic Banks/Financial Institutions addressed to the Beneficiary's Account at Bank Mandiri

Main features and benefits

This remittance transaction to Bank Mandiri Indonesia Account can be related to business, payment or personal affairs with the type of the received currency at Bank Mandiri may be in Rupiah currency or in Foreign Currency. Incoming remittance transactions can be made through Overseas Banks/Financial Institutions including Overseas Offices/ Bank Mandiri Overseas Subsidiaries or Other Overseas Banks/Financial Institutions.

    Remitter can remit money from overseas to Indonesia through Bank or Financial Institution in various countries by informing Bank Mandiri Account in Indonesia as Destination Account

Terms and Conditions, Costs and Procedures

  1. Incoming remittance transactions from overseas to Bank Mandiri Indonesia is subject to procedures, terms and conditions, and costs as set out by Bank/Financial Institution as the service provider used by the remitter.
  2. For incoming remittance to Bank Mandiri Indonesia, make sure you have used Bank Mandiri’s Code or Bank Mandiri’s SWIFT Code BMRIIDJAXXX and the beneficiary's name matches the name recorded in Bank Mandiri system.
  3. In the event that there is a difference in the type of currency remitted and the type of currency of the beneficiary customer at Bank Mandiri, funds will be received by the customer according to the currency in the Bank Mandiri Account based on the conversion rate applied by Bank Mandiri.

Risk

  1. Incoming remittances from certain countries to Bank Mandiri Indonesia might not be made if there are restrictions from regulator or international institutions regulating AML-CFT.
  2. Errors, incompleteness, and/or inaccuracies in filling in transaction information, including beneficiary information, remitter information, or other additional information may result in failure of funds received by the beneficiary in Bank Mandiri Indonesia’s Account.
  3. Remitter may be requested to complete additional information or documents as requested by Bank Mandiri, Correspondence Bank, or the Remitting Bank. If such additional information/document is incomplete or not submitted by the customer, it can cause a transaction failure.

Other Information

Overseas remittance transactions are subject to the provisions of Anti-Money Laundering and Countering of Terrorism Financing and Financing of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferation (APU-PPT PPSPM) or Anti Money Laundering & Countering the Financing of Terrorism applied in the State of Indonesia, the Country of Origin of the Correspondent/Partner Bank, and the Country of the Remitting Bank/Institution.
