What is the Online Now (GO Now) Account Opening feature at Kopra?
The online current account opening feature ("Giro Online Now") through Kopra Portal by Mandiri is a Bank Mandiri service to facilitate Bank Mandiri customers to open additional accounts online without having to visit a Bank Mandiri Branch Office.
Do customers who already have access to Kopra by Mandiri automatically have the Giro Online Now (GO Now) feature?
No, to obtain the Giro Online Now (GO Now) feature, the customers first need to register for additional features by filling out the Activation/Deactivation form of the Giro Online Feature. This is to ensure that the Customers have appointed the authorized official to open an account. The forms can be downloaded here.
Who can use the GO Now feature to open additional accounts at Kopra?
Giro Online Now (GO Now) can only be used by customers who already have access to Kopra or already have a Kopra user ID and the legality documents that have been submitted to the Bank are the up-to-date documents (no changes to the legality documents).
In addition to these criteria, the customers need to register with one of the services contained in Kopra (MCM 2.0, MFSCM, MGT, and MSA).
What types of accounts can be opened through Giro Online Now (GO Now)?
Giro Online can only be used to open Mandiri Giro Rupiah and Mandiri Giro Valas (the regular type).
Can the customers choose the desired branch when opening a current account?
No, the chosen branch location when opening a Giro Online Now (GO Now) account is the branch where the customers first become Bank Mandiri customers (when they open their account for the first time).
Do the customers need to submit legal documents when opening an account?
No. According to the criteria, customers who can use the feature are customers whose legality documents have not undergone any changes; thus, the legality documents used when opening an account are the last documents submitted to the Bank.
What is the flow of opening a current account through the Giro Online Now (GO Now) feature?
- Assign User ID by System Administrator (Sysadmin)
The sysadmin who has been authorized by the authorized official by using the application form on the Customer's side will give the access to the Giro Online Now feature to the User ID first.
- Account opening by User ID
Employees with User IDs that have been given this feature fill out the additional account opening forms at Kopra Portal by Mandiri (kopra.bankmandiri.co.id). After filling out the form, the User ID will be asked to verify the identity of the User ID owner via a video call. If they pass the verification, the Customers will receive information on the current account numbers that have been opened.
When can the customer make a video call for verification?
The video call verification process can only be done on working days and during working hours. If the customers are unable to make the video call at that time, or if the customers conduct the process of opening an account outside the working days and hours, the customers can make the video call on the next working day (and at working hours), with a maximum of 5 working days from the time the customers receive the account opening ticket number.
Can a current account opened through the Giro Online Now (GO Now) feature be used immediately?
The accounts opened through the Giro Online Now (GO Now) feature can directly be used to receive incoming funds (crediting funds); however, to make transactions (debiting funds), the Customers still need to request a Cheque/Bilyet Giro or register for an e-channel service at the branch where the account is made.
