1. To avoid failure in opening a Current Account, before opening a Current Account through Livin' by Mandiri, please ensure that:
- You have an account with Bank Mandiri (savings, current, MTR, or deposit)
- You have Indonesian citizenship
- You are not included in the National Blacklist
- You are over 21 years of age or married
- You have a savings account, because if you only have a credit card product, you may fail to open your current account
- You have an active savings account. If you have an account with restricted or frozen status, it may prevent you from opening a current account.
- The maximum number of accounts that can be opened through Livin' by Mandiri is 5 accounts (Savings Now and Current account types). If you wish to open more than the maximum number of accounts, you can visit the nearest Bank Mandiri branch.
- Have an account with Bank Mandiri with active status. If you have an account with new today status or an account that has not had an initial deposit made, please make an initial deposit before opening a current account.
- The initial deposit amount is IDR 1,000,000 (one million rupiah).
2. To avoid failed cheque withdrawal, before withdrawing cheques, please ensure:
- Withdraw cheques/giro at the managing branch
- Have an active giro account status, because if you have a restricted, frozen, or dormant Current Account status, it may prevent you from withdrawing cheques slips.
- Record your specimen signature at the managing branch.
- Have a minimum balance of one million rupiah in your current account.

Current Account Opening is a feature that allows individual customers to open a Current Account with Rupiah currency at Livin' by Mandiri.
What are the requirements for Current Account Opening at Livin' by Mandiri?
Customers who wish to open a Current Account must:
- Customers who already have an account at Bank Mandiri (savings, current accounts, MTR, or deposits)
- Individual customers with Indonesian citizenship status
- Customers are not included in the National Black List (DHN)
- Customers over 21 years old or married
- Customers who are not credit card holders only
- The customer does not have an account with restricted or frozen status
- The number of Customer accounts that can be opened through Livin' by Mandiri is less than 5 (the amount is subject to change according to the applicable policy)
- The customer does not have an account created through the Livin' by Mandiri application with a new today status and has not made an initial deposit
- Initial deposit nominal of IDR 1,000,000 (One Million Rupiah)

The benefits obtained by the Customer when using the Current Account at Livin' by Mandiri are as follows:
- Easy and Secure: Withdrawals using checks/bilyet giro and Physical and Virtual Debit Cards for IDR individuals.
- Real-time account mutation: Real-time account mutation information can be seen in the Livin' by Mandiri application.
- Progressive and competitive daily interest system: The larger your account balance, the higher the Current Account service that the Customer will get.
When is the operational time for opening a Current Account at Livin' by Mandiri?
Customers can open a current account at 04.00 - 23.00 WIB.
Am I required to make an initial deposit?
Yes, the Customer is required to make an initial deposit with the option of deposit early now or deposit later. However, if the Customer does not make an initial deposit for 90 days from the time the account is formed (account with New Today status), the account will be automatically closed.
What is the initial deposit amount for opening a current account at Livin' by Mandiri?
The customer makes a minimum initial deposit of IDR 1,000,000.
How do I find out my current account number?
Customers can see the account number on the Successful Account Opening Results page that appears after the account opening process. Current account number information will be available in the Inbox in the Livin' by Mandiri application and the email registered in the Livin' by Mandiri application.
What should I do, if the Customer cannot continue to open an account on the Current Account details page?
- The Customer has a frozen or restricted status account: The Customer can unblock the account to a Bank Mandiri branch.
- The customer has a new today status account and has not made an initial deposit: The customer can make an initial deposit first to the account.
- The customer has an account that exceeds the maximum limit that can be opened at Livin' by Mandiri (5 accounts): The customer must go to the branch to open the Current Account.
- Customers who only have a credit card at Bank Mandiri: Customers can open savings, MTR, or deposits first through Bank Mandiri branches or online onboarding web at https://join.Bankmandiri.co.id.
- Corporate customers (non-individuals): Customers can open a corporate current account through the Kopra by Mandiri application.
- Customers are included in the National Black List (DHN): Customers are required to wait 1 year since the cheque rejection transaction occurs and the customer's name will be automatically deleted by the OJK.
What should I do, if my source of funds account cannot be used when I am going to make the initial deposit?
- If they have another account, the Customer can choose another account as the source of initial deposit funds.
- If the customer does not have another account, the customer can click Deposit Later and can continue the process of opening a current account without making an initial deposit.
What should I do to make an initial deposit, if I don't have an IDR source account allowed?
Customers can make deposits via:
- Transfer through Bank Mandiri account or from Other Banks.
- Transfer via Cash Deposit Machine.
- Transfer via Cash Recycle Machine.
- Cash deposit at the nearest Bank Mandiri branch.
Can I request a debit card for a current account?
Yes, the Customer can request a debit card (debit and/or virtual card) for their current account.
Can I request an account book for opening a current account at Livin' by Mandiri?
Yes, the Customer can request an account book at the account management branch or the selected bilyet giro issuance branch during the Current Account Opening process in the Livin' by Mandiri application. Customers will also receive a Current Account e-statement email on the account details menu in the Livin' by Mandiri application.
Can I request a check or bilyet giro for opening a current account at Livin' by Mandiri?
- Customers can request checks or bilyet giro at the selected managing branch during the Current Account Opening process.
- Customers can view the account manager branch by clicking the settings button (gear button in the upper right corner) in the Current Account details.
