Terms and Conditions mandiri e-money

  • mandiri e-money is a payment instrument in the form of an electronic money card and/or other forms issued by Bank Mandiri on the basis of the value of money deposited in advance.
  • Cardholder is the party who controls mandiri e-money.
  • Transaction is a payment transaction and/or top up transaction using mandiri e-money.
  • mandiri e-money can be transferred to any party.
  • mandiri e-money cannot be used for any other purpose other than to conduct Transactions.
  • The use of mandiri e-money does not require a password number or Personal Identification Number (PIN) or signature from the Cardholder.
  • mandiri e-money does not have a validity period limit.
  • The balance contained in mandiri e-money is not a deposit and is not included in the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) guarantee programme.
  • Terms of use limit of mandiri e-money:
    • There is no minimum transaction value.
    • The minimum balance is Rp0.00 (zero rupiah).
    • The maximum balance is Rp2,000,000.00 (two million rupiah).
  • Terms of top up mandiri e-money are as follows:
    • The minimum top up value follows the provisions of the top up facility used by the Cardholder.
    • The maximum accumulated top up value per month is Rp20,000,000.00 (twenty million rupiah).
    • Top up facilities, among others:
      • 1) Bank Mandiri Branch Office.
      • 2) Mandiri ATM.
      • 3) Livin’ by Mandiri.
      • 4) Retail stores such as Indomaret, Alfamart, Alfamidi, Dandan, or Lawson.
      • 5) Marketplace applications such as Tokopedia, Shopee, or Blibli.
      • 6) Server-based electronic money applications such as LinkAja or Dana.
      • 7) Vending machines in public areas such as Transjakarta bus stops or Commuterline stations.
      • 8) PT Pos Indonesia (Kantor Pos).
      • 9) Other facilities developed by Bank Mandiri in the future.
  • Cardholders are responsible for the storage, security, and use of mandiri e-money.
  • Cardholders are not allowed to damage, manipulate, copy, and/or change the form or design of mandiri e-money.
  • Transaction data and mandiri e-money balances stored at Bank Mandiri are valid data and are used as a reference, unless proven otherwise by the Cardholder.
  • Bank Mandiri at any time has the right to stop mandiri e-money services temporarily or for a certain period of time determined by Bank Mandiri if things happen:
    • Technical, such as:
      • 1) Technical disruption to the system/network.
      • 2) The system/network is being upgraded, modified and/or maintained.
    • Non-technical, such as mandiri e-money cards indicated to be used for crime or activities that aim to violate the law.
  • In the event that the system/network is being upgraded, modified and/or maintained on a scheduled basis, it will be notified through Bank Mandiri's official means in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Cardholders have the right to terminate the use of mandiri e-money at any time.
  • Upon termination of the use of mandiri e-money, Cardholders can apply for a balance refund (redemption) of mandiri e-money at a Bank Mandiri branch office by filling out and attaching a Request and Complaint Form located at the Bank Mandiri branch and submitting physical mandiri e-money.
  • The balance contained in mandiri e-money will be returned by Bank Mandiri by transferring to the account designated by the Cardholder or paid in cash no later than 14 (fourteen) working days from the date of submission of the balance return (redemption).
  • The process of returning the balance (redemption) is not subject to administration fees.
  • Cardholders are fully responsible for the following matters:
    • Loss of and/or damage to mandiri e-money due to negligence and/or intent of the Cardholder;
    • Loss of the amount of money value in mandiri e-money due to Transactions that are not in accordance with applicable regulations;
    • Use of mandiri e-money obtained from cloning; and/or
    • mandiri e-money that has been changed either in shape or design.
  • Cardholders are required to submit the physical mandiri e-money card to Bank Mandiri in the event:
    • As a condition of the redemption process.
    • The process of handling certain complaints (if needed).
    • The use of mandiri e-money is not in accordance with the provisions of the regulator and / or Bank Mandiri.
    • Upon the order of the authority and/or authorised party.
    • For the physical submission of the mandiri e-money card, the Cardholders are fully responsible for claims, lawsuits and/or compensation in any form.
  • Without limiting the matters set forth in the above, Bank Mandiri and its officers, employees, and/or partners shall not be liable for any demands, suits, and/or claims from any party in connection with any loss and/or damage due to the inoperability of the system as a result of events or causes beyond the power or ability of Bank Mandiri, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, war, riots, sabotage, system disruptions, power disruptions, telecommunications disruptions, and/or government policies so that Bank Mandiri is not responsible for Cardholder losses.
  • In the event that there are complaints and/or questions regarding mandiri e-money, Cardholders can submit complaints and/or questions through Mandiri Call 14000 or the nearest Bank Mandiri branch by filling out the Request and Complaint Form available at the Bank Mandiri branch and bringing physical mandiri e-money.
  • Related to complaints and/or questions regarding Transactions, can be submitted a maximum of 30 (thirty) working days from the date of the Transaction.
  • Complaints and/or questions regarding mandiri e-money Transactions will be resolved within a maximum of 14 (fourteen) business days and will be submitted to the Cardholder through the media for submitting complaints and/or questions used by the Cardholder or other media based on Bank Mandiri's consideration.
  • By using mandiri e-money, Cardholders are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all contents in this mandiri e-money Terms and Conditions.
  • Cardholders agree that these mandiri e-money Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Indonesia and Cardholders agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South Jakarta District Court, without prejudice to Bank Mandiri's right to apply to any other court in Indonesia that Bank Mandiri deems appropriate.
  • Bank Mandiri at any time has the right to make changes, additions, and/or replacements to the Terms and Conditions of mandiri e-money, including the types and/or forms of services and the provisions of mandiri e-money limits.
  • Such changes, additions and/or replacements will be informed through Bank Mandiri's official channels, namely:
    • Displayed at Bank Mandiri branches;
    • Bank Mandiri's website (www.bankmandiri.co.id);
    • Print and/or electronic media;
    • Bank Mandiri's social media; and/or.
    • Other media as determined later;
    • no later than 30 (thirty) business days before the change takes effect, or in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Cardholders are required to read well periodically every change, addition, and/or replacement so that if the Cardholder continues to use mandiri e-money, the Cardholder is deemed to have known, understood, and agreed to the changes, additions, and/or replacements.
