Export
Bank Mandiri provides export transaction solutions with comprehensive and complete services at every stage of the transaction. This includes the process of preparing export orders and export documentation, presenting documents, and expediting the receipt of export proceeds. Customer can also enjoy convenient financing options for export transactions, ranging from pre-shipment financing to post-shipment financing. Below are the export solutions offered by Bank Mandiri:
- Pre-Export Financing:
Trade finance facilities for the preparation of goods shipment, whether based on Letter of Credit (LC) or non-LC (Purchase Order). This financing facility has four types: Packing Loan (Financing for raw materials for production and product shipment), Inventory/Stock Financing (Financing for finished goods stored in a warehouse under the management approved by the bank), Freight Financing (Financing for the shipment of goods), and Insurance Financing (Cargo insurance financing). - Export Letter of Credit (LC)/SKBDN Received:
The advising services for Letters of Credit (LC) and SKBDN include an irrevocable and definitive promise from the Issuing Bank to make payment upon the presentation of documents that comply with the terms and conditions of the LC/SKBDN. You may present documents in accordance with the received LC/SKBDN. If the Issuing Bank confirms that the presented documents are compliant, you will receive payment or acceptance as stipulated in the terms of the LC/SKBDN. - Export Collection/Outward Documentary Collection:
A service for issuing financial and/or commercial documents without using a Letter of Credit (LC) for the shipment and collection of payment for goods in domestic and international trade. Documents will be released to the buyer upon receipt of payment (Document against Payment) or upon acceptance (Document against Acceptance). - Account Receivable Financing:
This facility provides financing for the preparation of goods shipment or the acceleration of invoice payments. Account Receivable Financing can be based on Purchase Orders or Invoices that have either been accepted or not yet accepted by the buyer. - Reverse Factoring:
A service that facilitates invoice payment acceleration for suppliers. This product leverages the buyer's credit facility provided by the Bank.
Import
Bank Mandiri provides Import solutions, where you can purchase goods more safely, because payment will be made against the arrival of goods at the port, or if the documents comply with the same as required. Apart from facilitating the issuance of Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Mandiri also provides bridging payments for the purchase of imported goods or domestic trade. Bank Mandiri's import solution enables you to be able to negotiate for payment terms flexibly and maintain your credibility in suppliers’ eyes. Below are import solutions provided by Bank Mandiri:
- Import Letter of Credit (LC)/SKBDN/Standby LC Issuance/Amendment
An irrevocable undertaking issued by Bank Mandiri (as issuing bank), provided the supplier (beneficiary) can present documents that comply with the Letter of Credit (LC)/SKBDN and other rules. The Standby LC is issued by Bank Mandiri at the request of the customer (applicant) and serves as a guarantee for the beneficiary, ensuring that payment will be made if the obligated party fails to fulfill their contractual obligations. - Inward Documentary Collection
A service that handles financial and/or commercial documents without a Letter of Credit (LC) for customers engaged in the import trade based on instructions of the remitting bank for the purpose of obtaining payment and/or acceptance, and to deliver documents after receiving payment and/or acceptance and/or under other terms and conditions. - Shipping Guarantee
A service facilitates the expedited release of goods from the port without the presentation of transport documents (bill of lading), based on a guarantee issued by Bank Mandiri. This can reduce the risk of losses from cargo damage and high demurrage fees & other charges. - Post Import Financing/Trust Receipt
A service that assists buyers in deferring payment obligations based on a transaction application in the form of Trust Receipts (TR LC/Non-LC).
Bank Guarantee
A guarantee provided by a bank to business partners in both local and international transactions. In this case, the bank will pay a specified amount if applicant fails to fulfill the obligations. Through Kopra, you can easily apply for and manage Bank Guarantees digitally, accelerating processes and improving operational efficiency. Bank Guarantees are divided into two categories:
- Bank Guarantee (Outward):
This service assists you in applying for the issuance or amendment of Bank Guarantees issued by Bank Mandiri as a written guarantee to the beneficiary. Types of guarantees include Tender Guarantee, Performance Guarantee, Advance Payment Guarantee, Maintenance Guarantee, Payment Guarantee, and Customs Guarantee which help clients reduce transaction-related risks and enhance their reputation in the market. - Bank Guarantee (Inward):
This service helps beneficiary to manage and verify the authenticity of Bank Guarantees issued by Bank Mandiri. Beneficiaries can initiate the claims process if the applicant fails to fulfill their obligations as per the agreed terms (default). With this service, you can more easily access, monitor, and submit claims on received Bank Guarantees, thereby improving efficiency in risk management processes.
What are the fees for using Kopra Trade service?
- Fees are a percentage of the transaction amount, with a minimum fee applicable.
- Commision/provisions, interest rates and other fees are in accordance with Bank Mandiri’s regulations.
- Confirmation fee in accordance with the provisions set by Bank Mandiri.
- The cost of issuing the Bank Guarantee is calculated from the issuance of the Bank Guarantee/effective date of the Bank Guarantee by considering the claim period (if any)
What are the potential risks of using the Kopra Trade service?
- There is no payment obligation from the Bank, so there is a risk of non-payment.
- There is no certainty of payment.
- Payment for goods has been made, but goods received are not in accordance with the good order document (D/A).
- If the obligation of the facility used as Bank Guarantee cover cannot be settled, the obligation can be recorded as non-performing loans subject to penalties in accordance with applicable regulations and recorded in SLIK OJK.
Does the transaction process at Kopra Trade require a token/pin etc?
Transaction process at Kopra Trade does not require token or PIN; however, to transact and to send the transaction to the Bank, a minimum of dual control is required which requires authorization process from the checker, subject to the policies of each company and is determined by the company’s admin.

Terms & Conditions
Bank Guarantee
- Fill out and sign the application or use Kopra by Mandiri.
- Already a Mandiri bank account holder.
- Provides cover for Bank Guarantee or Standby LC issuance (funds in account, Bank Guarantee facility, or insurance/correspondent bank counter guarantee).
Import
- Submits cover guarantee for LC issuance.
- Have a Giro/Deposito/Business Savings account in the name of a Bank Mandiri customer.
- Have a Trade Business License (SIUP) and Business Identification Number (NIB)/Company Registration Certificate (TDP).
- Not included in any internal or external blacklist (Bank Indonesia).
- Have an import license.
Export
- A beneficiary has an active account at Bank Mandiri.
- Buyer and Issuing Bank are not subject to embargo.
- LC issued by the Issuing Bank will be forwarded by Bank Mandiri to the customer through the customer’s account management branch.
When can I access the Kopra Trade portal?
Kopra Trade can be accessed 24/7. However, any transactions submitted by customers through Kopra Trade over the weekend or during holiday will be processed by Bank Mandiri on the following working day.
