The Mandiri Smart Account is a cash management service in the form of a virtual checking sub-account (Virtual Account) that helps companies manage centralized funds with the ease of allocation, recording, and transaction identification.

What are the features of the Mandiri Smart Account (MSA) service? 

  • Transaction limit opening and management are done independently by the company through the Mandiri Smart Account Portal or Kopra Host to Host (API) integration.

  • Flexibility in Smart Account numbering according to the company's needs.

  • Flexibility in account management, including blocking/unblocking Smart Accounts through the Mandiri Smart Account Portal or Kopra Host to Host (API) integration.

  • Smart Accounts can be transacted through Mandiri Bank's digital channels, such as ATM, EDC, Branch Offices, Kopra Cash Management, Kopra Host to Host Payment, as well as digital channels of banks other than Mandiri Bank.

What are the charges for using Mandiri Smart Account (MSA)? 

There are 6 (six) charge components associated with using Kopra Smart Account services:

  • The Fee for Smart Account Number creation: Rp2.500,-
  • The Fee for Smart Account Card Creation: Rp15.000,-
  • Admin Fee: Rp2.500,-
  • Card Admin Fee: Rp7.500,-
  • Transaction Fee: Rp2.500,-
  • Disbursment Fee: 0.05% maks. Rp5 juta

What is procedure for opening a Mandiri Smart Account service? 

Prospective users of the Mandiri Smart Account (MSA) can contact the nearest Bank Mandiri branch to be further followed up by the Transaction Banking Wholesale Region team.

What is Smart Account Limit? 

It is the limit set to restrict the amount of debit and/or credit transactions on the Smart Account.

What is the Smart Account Limit amount? 

The limit amount refers to the limit set by the customer for each Smart Account number. The use of the limit also depends on the available balance in the Master Account (Checking Account).

What is the validity period of Smart Account limit?

The validity period of the Smart Account limit refers to the time frame set by the customer for each Smart Account number.

What is the procedure for issuing a Smart Account debit card? 

Customers can request the issuance of a Smart Account Debit Card from Bank Mandiri through the Mandiri Smart Account Portal, which is accessible to customers.

How long is the validity period of the physical Smart Account Debit Card that can be used by the holder? 

The validity of the Smart Account Debit Card is according to the month and year printed on the physical card.

What should the holder do if they forgot their PIN or if the Smart Account Debit Card is blocked? 

The Smart Account holder can contact the customer’s PIC (Person in Charge) to unblock the Smart Account Debit Card or to re-issue the PIN through the Mandiri Smart Account Portal. Alternatively, the Smart Account holder can visit the nearest Bank Mandiri branch to unblock the Smart Account Debit Card or to re-issue the PIN.

What should the holder do if the Smart Account Debit Card is damaged? 

The Smart Account holder can contact the customer’s PIC (Person in Charge) to request a replacement for the damaged Smart Account Debit Card.

The cut off time for the Mandiri Smart Account service follows the applicable cut off time rules for transactions (e.g., COT for SKN/RTGS transactions in MCM).

How to make a cash deposit transaction for Mandiri Smart Account through Bank Mandiri Branch (Teller)?

  • Smart Account Holder visit the nearest bank mandiri branch 
  • Smart Account Holder fill out the Deposit/Clearing/Transfer/Collection Form (FFO 079) with the following details:
    • Name    : Name of VA owner
    • Account Number    : VA Number (prefix 81xx )
    • Bank    : Mandiri
    • Depositor    : Depositor Name
    • Address & Phone Number    : Depositor Address
    • Amount and In Words    : As per deposit amount 
  • The Smart Account Holder submits the Deposit/Clearing/Transfer/Collection Form (FFO 079) and Identity (KTP) to the Teller and informs them accordingly.
  • The Teller inputs the following in BDS (Banking Data System):
    • Enter contract number 2349
    • Enter the VA Number (prefix 81xx ).
    • Select CIF (Custmer Information File)
    • Enter the depositor's NIK/KTP (ID number)
    • Enter the amount to be deposit
    • Enter the note or message to be included (e.g., Deposit Purpose/Outlet Name)
  • As proof of payment, the Smart Account Holder will receive a validated slip and advice.

How to make a cash withdrawal transaction for Mandiri Smart Account through Mandiri Branch (Teller)? 

  • The Smart Account Holder visits the nearest Bank Mandiri branch
  • The Smart Account Holder fills out the Withdrawal Form (FFO 011) with the following details:
    • Account Holder Name    : Name of VA Holder
    • Account Number    : VA Number (prefix 81xx )
    • Amount and In Words    : As per withdrawal amount
    • Message/Note    : (e.g., Withdrawal Purpose/Outlet Name)
  • The Smart Account Holder submits the Withdrawal Form (FFO 011) and informs the Teller.
  • The Teller inputs the following in BDS (Banking Data System):
    • Enter contract number 2300.
    • Enter the Debit Account Number with the VA number (prefix 81xx ).
    • Enter the cash amount as stated in the withdrawal form.
    • Enter the note/message to be included (e.g., Withdrawal Purpose/Outlet Name).
  • The Teller asks the Smart Account Holder to enter the Smart Account Card PIN on the available PIN Pad.
  • As proof of payment, the Smart Account Holder receives a validated slip and advice.
