We also pack this into a program called Mission-Based Development (MBD), in which ten types of competency development activities must be fulfilled by an employee every year.

Mandiri University implements various learning and development strategies, which can be broadly grouped into three pillars, namely:
- Capability enabler,
- Learning-to-business alignment,
- Learning experience design.
Learning Strategy and Governance Department berfungsi untuk merumuskan kebijakan umum terkait learning and development maupun pedoman teknis pelaksanaan proses operasional di Mandiri Corporate University.
Selain merumuskan kebijakan, LSG juga berperan aktif dalam penyusunan strategi corporate university, termasuk mengusulkan program prioritas tahunan untuk mendukung strategi corporate university dan memantau realisasinya.
Di samping itu, LSG juga berperan penting dalam mendukung Academy dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran.
Persiapan, pelaksanaan dan monitoring hasil pelaksanaan training merupakan bagian penting dalam siklus operasional Mandiri Corporate University. Hal tersebut ditangani oleh tim operasional yang terdiri dari 3 departemen.
Ketiga unit kerja tersebut memiliki fungsi yang berbeda, termasuk di antaranya adalah budgeting, analytics, operations, pengadaan serta branding and partnership.
Melalui aktifitas partnership, Mandiri Corporate University juga aktif membangun network learning and development (L&D) melalui berbagai instansi, termasuk nasabah korporasi dan berbagai lembaga kepemerintahan.
Kampus Wijayakusuma dioperasikan dalam 3 tahap, dimana saat ini dilakukan secara parsial dan selanjutnya akan beroperasi penuh di pertengahan tahun 2024. Pada saat beroperasi penuh, kampus ini akan beroperasi dengan berbagai teknologi pendukung pembelajaran, antara lain:
